Heya folks, here are the photo's of the finished Palitoy X-Wing. Unfortunately I lost the photo's of the restoration itself (re-installed my phone, forgot to backup the photo') but the end result is what counts. I got this X-Wing with the cannon's bend, cockpit glass yellow, some yellowing at the overall body of the fighter and damaged/faded stickers.
First thing I did was take it all apart, give it a good wash with soap and hot water and the gave the wings and body two sessions of waterstof peroxide. The parts came out bright as new and the glass turned out pretty clear as well. I then ordered new decals from Ebay, got a different seller this time, called futureprintdesign2015 His decals are already die-cut, which saves alot of hasstle,
Anyway, check out the photo's of the finished X-Wing below. Next-up will be a Snowspeeder .. or two.
